Thanksgiving in Nicaragua ~ Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is Thanksgiving in the United States.  Even though we’re dow here in Nicaragua, we were able to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal put on by the Center’s wonderful cooks.  Lula, Anita, and Ruth, all stayed up until early this morning, and have been planning the meal for the past couple of weeks.  The meal included nice and juicy turkey, savory mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pies.  Our entire group is grateful to be able to eat their delicious food each day we’re here at the center.  I am grateful to have shared this experience in Central America with the 13 other students in my group, as well as Joe, Ruth, and the CGE staff that have been a large part of experiencing Central America as much as we have.  I am also thankful for the love and support that my parents, brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and teachers have given me throughout the years.  Each have had a hand in shaping me into the person I am today.

Thank you to all!

Peace and love from Nicaragua.
